Here’s another peek at what I’ve been up to filming ‘Life of a Mountain: Blencathra’ this time featuring Threlkeld resident Donald Angus. I chanced upon meeting Donald thanks to socialising with the locals and I was thrilled he agreed to appear in my documentary. The clip here is an abridged version of what you’ll see in the final feature but it still makes for some interesting viewing.
The stories Donald shared with me (on and off camera) were fascinating, be it place names that have changed or how the village has evolved over the decades. So if you’re ever about Threlkeld in the future and bump into him to pop on over and greet him! You won’t regret it.
